1920's British Inadvertently Helped Jerusalem Become Central to Islam By   Elder of Ziyon  -   19 Nisan 5779 – April 24, 2019 Photo Credit: LOC Antique photo of the Temple Mount {Originally posted to the  Elder of Ziyon  website} I am reading an  academic paper  named “Making Jerusalem the centre of the Muslim World: Pan-Islam and the World Islamic congress of 1931.” by N. E. Roberts. It shows, as we have mentioned before, that Jerusalem was never an important part of Islamic thinking until the 1920s with the rise of the infamous anti-Semite (and later Nazi collaborator) Hajj Amin Husayni as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Roberts notes: Although Jerusalem was the third holiest city in Islam, it was not an important concern of Pan-Islamists in the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries. Historically, the city had been peripheral to Islamic politics, having never been the capital of a major Islamic power, nor t...

Why Jews Are Indigenous To Palestine/Israel — And Arabs Are Not By   Bennett Ruda  -   18 Tishri 5779 – September 27, 2018 The Israeli flag at the Kotel. When people argue about Israel, various words get tossed around. People will talk about “occupation,” “disproportionate force” and “apartheid” — words that have real-world meanings that tend to get lost. Another word that is increasingly misused is “indigenous.” Here is  Ariel Gold of Code Pink, tweeting last month : Not only does she not apply the word “indigenous” to  Jews , but according to her – it is the  Arabs  who are indigenous to Palestine. Is she right? Well, if you ask Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator, he will tell you he is “ the proud son of the Canaanites ,” with a history in Jericho going back some 10,000 years. Could an Arab-Palestinian State in Israel ever be acceptable? http://yjdraimanarticles.blogspot.com/2017/08/could-arab-palestinian-state-in-israel.html A second Arab-Palestinian State ( Jordan is the first), especially in Israel (west of the Jordan River ), is not viable; not even in theory.  There is nothing to debate. The past 70 years has proven that the Arab culture and mentality is not conducive to coexistence with its own people, much less with the Israelis. If there is to be peace for  Israel , and thus, the entire Middle East , it is imperative that  Israel  has a total crushing victory over its enemies. Reviewing all the efforts  Israel  has tried in the past seven decades in trying to give the Arabs concessions upon concessions has only returned more terror, violence, suicide bombing and encouragement to continue the terror and violence. The PLO and Hamas Charter state explicitly that they must fight Israel ’s Occu...

A second Arab-Palestinian State west of the Jordan River is a fantasy that will never happen - YJ Draiman

A second Arab-Palestinian State west of the Jordan River is a fantasy that will never happen It is Jewish territory for eternity. As referenced below, there is no justification whatsoever for another Arab-Palestinian State west of the Jordan River . The Arabs have Jordan which is Jewish territory, the also have the homes and the over 120,000 sq. km. of the territory they confiscated from the over a million Jewish families they expelled who now reside in Israel and they also have over 13 million sq. km. the Arabs were allocated with a wealth of oil reserves, when the Ottoman Empire dissolved by the Allied forces in WWI. If and when you read the 1917 Balfour Declaration (Which emulated Napoleons 1799 letter to the Jewish community in Palestine promising that The National Home for The Jewish people will be reestablished in Palestine, as the Jews are the rightful owners). Nowhere does it state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River. The San Remo Conference of 1920 ...
